“The Science and Art of Smile Design: A Practical Guide to Excessive Gingival Display for Dentists”
Presented by Dr. Babak Najafi
Summary:
Achieving a harmonious and balanced smile requires a multidisciplinary approach integrating both white and pink esthetics. This course provides an in-depth look at the diagnosis and management of Excessive Gingival Display (Gummy Smile), a common yet complex esthetic concern.
A comprehensive clinical decision tree will be discussed for everyday practice to provide patient-tailored solutions from restorative, periodontal, orthodontic, and surgical perspectives. From consultation to creation, clinical cases will illustrate modern minimally invasive approaches to gingival harmony including crown lengthening and lip repositioning.
