Summary: 

Cracked teeth have become an increasingly important focus in everyday dental practice, driven by rising prevalence and advances in diagnostic technology. Accurate diagnosis is essential not only for clinical success but also for helping patients avoid unnecessary time and financial costs. This course will review the most up-to-date, evidence-based strategies for identifying and managing cracked teeth, with practical guidance on when to treat, when to refer, and when extraction is the best option.

After several years of experience in general dentistry, she pursued her passion for endodontics and completed her specialty training at the Department of Endodontics, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, School of Dentistry in 2022. Alongside private practice, Dr. Azar serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Department of Endodontics, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, School of Dentistry.
